Contestants and visitors should expect to pay a $5.00 per carload parking fee in visitor parking. The contest is located on the West side of the range near Stages 1-4. Pot Shoots if time permits.
This is a Trial Event in connection with Winter Range, there will be an Official Winter Range Cowboy Fast Draw Side Match, open only to all registered competitors of Winter Range. The Side Match will run Wednesday - Friday, with the Top 8 Men & the Top 8 Women shooting the finals on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.. We will also have a Town Folk Alley running on all days for spectators to give CFD a try. Any CFDA members that want to help with set-up (Tuesday), running the Official Side Match and Town Folk Alley, or tear-down (Sunday) your help would be appreciated. This is a great opportunity to promote our sport not only in the Phoenix area, but nationally. Its also a great opportunity to shop and buy clothing and other items that you want.
The Idaho Shootists are proud to present the Top Shootist Showdown in historic Idaho City , Idaho on March 15th, 2008. This is a Shootist category only match that follows are CFDA rules for the category. There will also be a Friday Nite Gunfights contested the evening of March 14th in Idaho City . There is a $15.00 cost for Friday Nite Gunfights if you have your own ammo (C&R Wax and shotgun primer). We do not do a pay out for Friday Nite Gunfights. We will be shooting indoors at the Robinson Community Center where its warm and out of the weather.
We encourage all shooters to come on and give the long gun a try.
We will pay out 1/3 of the Shootist contest entry fees split between the top 3 men and top 3 ladies divisions. The Last man and lady standing will also receive custom buckles.

We can set up as many as 14 lanes indoors, and we have an outdoor shooting range we can set up as many as 8 to 10 targets, so weather (good or bad) won't matter.
