CFDA has our own brand of Laser Training Cartridges. This 45 (CFDA) Laser Cartridge is a highly efficient 3,000 lumen low-cost laser cartridge.  It is 50% more powerful than our previous laser cartridges.  This is the Laser Cartridge we recommend for our Mark IV Laser Targets!  Even better product, still same great price!

Note: The Laser Light will remain on continuously until the pressure of the firing pin is released from the primer/switch. “Colt-style” actions, must be re-cycled to an empty chamber, whereas Ruger, New Uberti, or other actions (wherein releasing the trigger removes the firing pin from the primer-switch). Always make sure the firing pin pressure is released, so that you will not wear out batteries.

We highly recommend a Set of 3 especially for Colt-Style Actions!!!  It’s best to install 3 laser cartridges in every other chamber of a six-gun!  Why?  That way, every time you fire a laser-shot you simply cycle the action one-time, to release the firing pin from the primer-switch, before re-holstering and you’re ready for your next draw!  It becomes second-nature after one practice session.  It’s far superior than having to cycle a full cylinder rotation that a single laser would require for each, and it also saves the cost of purchasing a set of 6 for a Ruger, Uberti, or other style actions. 

CFDA has re-designed the length of our current 45CFDA Model to fit better into all currently manufactured .45 colt chambers. The rubber compression rings provided may fit very tight in some chambers and can be removed for easier fit.

Comes with 3 – LR41 Batteries & Instructions.  After unscrewing the cap, the 3 batteries need to be installed flat-side down into the chamber.  Please check that your cap stays screwed finger tight into the body of the laser.  If they are allowed to loosen they will increase the length of the cartridge that can cause drag on the frame as the cylinder turns.
