The Lightning Speed #2 is a “Low Ride” Mexican Drop Loop Holster.   The holster has an exposed rawhide interior that reduces the drag of the gun while fast drawing the single action revolver.  All DOH – Lightning Speed Holsters have a built-in safety deflector on the toe of the holster, which guards against an injury from a wax bullet should a “boot-shot” occur.  There is some forward cant on this model, especially when the belt in placed in position and the shooter settles into their stance.

We now stock both Black or Dark Brown.

Important Note:  Please see CFDA Hoster Rule #1 (Gun Must fit the Holster), it is tested by movement of the gun when sitting in the holster.  Competitors should perform this test themselves to ensure they will pass equipment checks.  DOH Lightning Speed Holsters are molded to fit Ruger Vaqueros, SAA Colts, or SAA Colt Clone with the full front sight blades.  If your gun has no front sight please indicate when ordering and expect about a 2-Week delay in order to prepare your holster for shipping.
